So there you have it, my favorite trends for 2019. We may not be able to keep up with all the trends, but we can incorporate some here and there for some change. You are you and everyone has their own taste and styles so make your home comfortable in your own way.
As time goes on our taste changes and so do trends. What we choose to keep around and add to our decor is our personal taste and style. There are many new trends top publishers listed for 2019 and many of these I don't much care for. However, there are a few that I love and thought I would share. So with that, here are a few of my top favorite trends for 2019.

BRING THE OUTDOORS IN
In 2019 start by bringing the outdoors in with plants, daylight, and other natural materials such as stones, woodwork (like this live edge rustic coffee table), custom mill-work, and other hand crafted materials. In addition, studies show by incorporating live plants into your decor, it can help boost your mood and make you feel less sick.
If you can't have live plants due to pets, little sunlight, or not having a green thumb like me then bring the outdoors in by incorporating artificial plants, pictures, canvas, and paintings of nature. Studies show this can improve cognitive performances (attention span, memory, reasoning, and complex mental process).
TOUCH OF FEMININE
I never thought of myself as a huge girly girl, however I do like having my own space. Just as my husband likes his work space and his man cave, a girl's gotta have her own place to decorate and call her own. One of my spaces is the bedroom...
Incorporate a touch of feminine tones into your room. I'm not saying BAM in your face pinks and purples, I am talking about some subtle feminine tones along with some more neutral colors such as grey, beige, or tan.
These colors along with bringing the outdoors in...you got yourself one awesome space for meditation and prayer.
FLORAL IS ON FIRE
I am super excited about this 2019 trend...floral! I am totally in love with this right now. Again, I just love bringing the outdoors in and the floral designs are on fire. I'm not saying floor to ceiling floral, but a touch here and there is perfect addition for a musing space.
And how about the black and white in this space? Don't be afraid to mix and match some different designs and patterns. You don't have to be an interior designer to mix things up. if you are not sure what looks good, try checking out some pictures that you like and mocking that. In the picture to the left there is just enough pattern and solids to keep the room interesting, but not too much that it is...IN YOUR FACE.
Whether it is wallpaper or solid color, a statement ceiling is a fun way to add some color and/or pattern into a room.
I have been getting into the Wallpop wallpaper and I was thinking this would be a great way to accomplish a statement ceiling. Wallpop wallpaper is awesome because it has a peal and stick concept which is super easy to add and remove. I have it in my kitchen as a back-splash and love it!
One thing when considering a statement ceiling, I do not suggest one if you have low ceiling to begin with. It will make your room feel even smaller.
